First, we identify segments of society that could benefit from financial education. Then, we collaborate with an organization that has direct access to these individuals and make use of "teachable moments" to increase the financial literacy of individuals, families, and groups. These organizations help leverage our efforts by:
- helping shape the collaborative programs and projects NEFE creates
- distributing and promoting the completed project
Together, NEFE and its collaborative partners address the financial education needs of large groups of Americans. Individual projects emphasize the nation's underserved, its youth, and people whose special circumstances can be improved through relevant, practical, and customized financial information or education.
