The two main parts of the evaluation toolkit are the evaluation manual and the evaluation database.

Would you like to review some of the basic concepts in program evaluation? The evaluation manual is the place to start. The evaluation manual has been designed to help you understand basic evaluation concepts and apply those in program evaluation. The manual will walk you through the purpose and meaning of program evaluation, the planning stages of program evaluation, implementation, interpreting findings, and reporting findings to stakeholders. Sample evaluations can be viewed in the manual. The manual also provides information to help you use the evaluation database. Even while you are using the database the manual is accessible anytime by clicking the "Help" button located at the top right of the page.

Evaluation manual

The evaluation database is designed to simplify the creation of evaluation instruments and forms for organization and follow-up based on the type of educational program you offer. The database will walk you through a step by step process to create evaluation instruments for pre and post evaluation, post evaluation only, stages to change evaluation, and train-the-trainer evaluation forms.

Helpful Tip: Always remember that if you are not sure about a particular step in the database, the "Help" button in the upper right hand corner of the screen will link you directly to the relevant pages in the manual. Begin creating your evaluation instrument by clicking on the database link below.
