GREENWOOD VILLAGE, COLORADO—The National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) has received the Magnum Opus Gold Award for Most Improved Design for its NEFE Digest. This is the first recognition award for the bi-monthly newsletter that publishes feature articles on the foundation’s projects and a comprehensive look at the current state of financial education. The Digest spotlights NEFE’s programs, research projects, and activities with its partnering organizations. In 2008 the NEFE Digest was redesigned to a full-color, magazine-style newsletter.

“We are honored to see that our commitment and dedication to improving the Digest has been rewarded. We pride ourselves in providing updates about our organization and the topic of financial literacy in an aesthetically pleasing way,” said Patricia Seaman, director of Marketing and Communications at NEFE. “We have received positive feedback from our subscribers since the redesign. The fact that there were so many wonderful publications up for this recognition makes us even more pleased to receive the Magnum Opus Gold Award for Most Improved Newsletter.”

The Magnum Opus is a leading awards program dedicated exclusively to custom publishing in corporate communications. The awards are judged on criteria ranging from strategic, editorial and visual excellence, and presented by ContentWise, a leading publication covering best practices on how to create, produce and deliver organizational content.
