PUBLIC POLICY

NEFE Is at the Table

“Wherever financial literacy is being promoted, we want to be there.”
-Ted Beck, NEFE President & CEO

What NEFE Is

  • We are a national leader – a nonprofit organization with 501(c)3 status – devoted to furthering financial literacy. As part of that, we provide thoughts and opinions on issues of public policy related to financial education.
  • NEFE has a highly visible profile, which allows us to help shape public policy on this vitally important issue.

What NEFE Is NOT

  • NEFE is NOT a membership organization or a lobbying group.
  • NEFE does not necessarily endorse any group with whom we associate on a given initiative. Instead, we work toward goals – often, common goals – with like-minded organizations.
