Margaret Pearson

Manager, Office Operations

Margaret Pearson is manager of office operations with the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE). Pearson is responsible for the daily workflow of the NEFE office, including developing and maintaining office procedures, greeting visitors and managing vendor relations.

Pearson received her undergraduate degree in rehabilitation services from the University of Maine at Farmington. She concentrated in substance abuse and trauma counseling. Prior to NEFE, she spent most of her career in social services working specifically with at-risk populations. Most recently, Pearson held the role of director of operations for the Denver-based homeless shelter, Father Woody’s Haven of Hope. During her time with Father Woody’s, she provided job-training and supervision to over 40 homeless employees and developed programming aimed to meet the physical, mental and spiritual needs of the homeless community.

In her down time, Pearson volunteers at Father Woody’s Haven of Hope, attends live music venues, enjoys traveling home to the East Coast to visit family and friends, and takes her dog on strolls around Denver.
