Gwendolyn Teok

Manager, Research

Gwendolyn Teok serves as the NEFE Institute’s research manager. Her responsibilities include analysis, collaboration and support on key tasks and objectives tied to NEFE’s research priorities.

Prior to joining NEFE, Gwendolyn worked in a diverse range of education spaces. She managed partnership and program evaluation projects in a community school in California and admissions in an international school in Singapore. In addition, Gwendolyn has held roles in the classroom—a teacher of the SAT and ACT in Singapore and Vietnam and a teaching assistant at Vanderbilt University.

Gwendolyn earned her master’s degree in education, focusing on international education policy and management, from Vanderbilt University and her bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the National University of Singapore. Outside of work, she can be found engaging in her ever-growing list of hobbies such as trying out new recipes, watercolor painting and hiking.
