Student Loans and Financial Stress in the United States

In 2023, Congress passed legislation ending the pause on student loan payments and 0% interest rates on eligible federal student loans, both instituted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. NEFE polled a sample of the U.S. adult population, supplemented with a poll of student loan debt holders, to determine the impacts of this change.
