DENVER—The Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) and the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) are now accepting entries for the 2020 Excellence in Personal Finance Reporting Awards.

Money matters affect everyone your reporting reaches, particularly during times of economic uncertainty. According to a recent survey by NEFE, 88 percent of Americans say the COVID-19 crisis is causing stress on their personal finances, making reporting about financial matters more important than ever. If you have alerted your audience to a scam, helped them prioritize their spending during the pandemic, or explained how a new policy affects their wallets, share your best stories with us to have your work nationally recognized. Entries must have aired on TV, radio or online between April 1, 2019, and July 18, 2020.

Submit your consumer or personal finance stories by July 31, 2020.

Three winners will each receive $1,000 and the opportunity to present at the 2020 Excellence in Journalism conference. Winning work will also be featured on RTDNA.org.

Enter now to showcase your consumer reporting, share your expertise, further build your skills and fund your next story.
