NEFE hosted the Research Funders Forum on September 7, 2016 in Washington, DC. The forum brought together financial education and financial capability research funders to focus on research priorities for the next several years. Facilitated discussion was designed to help attendees share ideas and prevent key funders from duplicating efforts. The event highlighted several topics of interest, narrowing in on a few key themes, including: evaluation, accessibility, overall financial health, workplace, financial tech, social services, and defining effectiveness in programs, coaching, and counseling.
