Tracy Ginsburg, Ed.D., is the executive director of the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO). Under her leadership, TASBO has grown to more than 9,000 members and implemented multiple programs including an expanded mentor program for those new to the profession and the Center for School Finance, which helps members prepare their organization’s financial future.
Before leading TASBO, Ginsburg had a successful career serving as a chief financial officer (CFO) for both Round Rock and Fort Bend Independent School District, where she managed multi-million dollar budgets. She recently served as an adjunct school finance professor for Baylor University.
Ginsburg has been recognized by the Austin Business Journal as a "Non-Profit CFO of the Year" and by the Association of School Business Officials International as the winner of the "International Eagle Award". She has also been recognized as a distinguished executive by the Texas Society of Association Executives. While executive director, TASBO was recognized as a “Best Place to Work” in Austin.
Ginsburg holds a doctorate in education from the University of Houston. She is passionate about public education and is proud to lead an organization that “educates those who make education possible.”
