NEFE goes beyond simply providing information to media to ensure journalists are aware of significant research, data and breakthroughs in the financial education field. We actively encourage journalists from all disciplines to report on consumer finance issues regularly and effectively.

We invest in emerging business journalists with our partners the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing (SABEW), sponsoring the College Connect blog for students to share age-critical financial information with their peers, including “How I Got My Financial Life Together” and “Don’t Let Emotions Make You Go Broke.”

We also provide annual awards to recognize the best in personal finance reporting through our partners the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA).
