As part of Financial Capability Month (also known as Financial Literacy Month), NEFE is proud to present a special webinar to share and discuss updates to our Five Key Factors for Effective Financial Education.
This initiative, first conceptualized in 2013, provides a framework for designing and implementing effective financial education for all learners. The factors have been used by partners, researchers, educators and policymakers in their work, and are being revised to reflect today’s implementation realities.
The webinar will feature NEFE leaders—Billy Hensley, Ph.D., NEFE president and CEO, an original author of the factors, and Beth Bean, Ph.D., senior vice president of Research and Policy. They will be joined by Angela Fontes, Ph.D., managing partner, Fontes Research LLC, who worked with NEFE on the new version to ensure it was backed by data and continues to be a relevant resource.
